- Did I mention procrastination is my philosophy of life?

I love meeting new people and enjoying the experiences that life throws my way. While I am strong in my convictions, I am very accepting of others' beliefs and cultures. They fascinate me. The more you know and experience, the more you live. My entire philosophy of life is based off of Matthew Arnold's poem "Scholar Gipsy." Everyone should read it at least once. If you would like to know more about me, just ask.

About the "I Promise to Remember" Avatar: I made this avatar today, June 10, 2005 in memory of a close friend who died this morning, Donald Harrison. He was diagnosed with a severe form of Juvenile Diabetes when he was 13. He was 36 now. After living a life of being unable to work, unable to obtain insurance, and suffering mild brain damage from lack of proper care, he won his case against Social Security yesterday afternoon. My family and I are close friends with his and we testified yesterday on his behalf in court. He was awarded full disability with a statement of retroactiveness from the time he was thirteen. He would be well taken care of for the rest of his life. This morning, when his dad when in to wake him, he found that Donald had passed away in his sleep. They believe he had an insulin reaction in the middle of the night and was unable to wake up and treat it. Our prayers and love are with you, Donald, and your family.
