Biography: I'm Stacey. I can read. If you didn't catch that To Kill A Mockingbird reference, you are forgiven. My Russian ballet teacher insisted on calling me Stacika, but I would much rather be referred to as Stacey. I am that visually impaired, half Filipino, half Scottish girl with an afro who was born on 9/11. I dwell in hockey rinks, I am always on-the-go, and I am crazy competitive. I enjoy listening to indie music, watching indie flicks, and good old wholesome dancing. I particularly enjoy watching indie flicks, featuring indie music with good old wholesome dance scenes. I play three instruments: piano, tenor, and guitar. I am also a competitive figure skater, and I train almost every day of the week. It has pretty much been established that one day I will be famous. This has been established by me. My life is random much like an iPod shuffle. Dental hygienists think I'm black, hairdressers think I'm "cute", teachers think I'm "quite popular", and boys think I do not exist. Three random pieces of information: I am a former sleep-walker, I am certified for First Aid/CPR, and I am addicted to caffeine.

Question 1: What made you join dmb?

I registered at DMB on 07/09/02, so as you can imagine I've been here for quite some time! Part of the reason I joined and managed to stay here for as long as I have was because of the friendly atmosphere. This board is the most organised and well-run board I have ever seen. As well, it has many interesting topics, and events for people to participate in.
Question 2: What does it feel like to be a star member?

Well, I don't feel any different. I feel just like a normal member, plus some few privillages. It's just comforting to know we're all treated with respect, and that longevity and contribution will get you somewhere.
Question 3: What's your personal motto?

Whenever I have a lot on my mind, or a lot of work to complete I tell myself: "Just get through the day". It seems to be working for me...it has gotten me through the past year.
Question 4: If you'd choose something in the world to represent you, what would it be and why?

It's hard for me to pick just one thing because in a way...I am everything. I am the experiences, the memories, I am everything that has been subjected to me. No one will ever look like me, no one will ever think like me, no one will ever go through exactly what I have gone through. Nothing has, nothing will.

Not saying I don't believe in symbolism...I'm just too complex for symbolism (that or too dumb to think of something) =P
Question 5: What's your biggest goal in life?

It's a selfish goal, but my biggest goal is to be happy in life.
