Hello everyone. I am Kaolla. Also known as Yue in life. And that is prononouced U.A. I'm a 15-year-old girl living in New Orleans, Louisiana, but I am Chinese and I have lived in China, Japan, and St. Louis. I'm about 5'7'' and enjoy web design, manga, and playing RPGs. I don't play any sports but I do a lot of speech and debate. I've just moved to Louisiana, and as of right now, I'm having a terrible time. Hopefully this will change, but I still miss my friends more than ever. Thank you DMB for providing me with location-wary friends! Soon, I will expand my brand of Emotion Kaolla to include Kaollas, photoshopping me and others together when they get better quality pics. I like posting in the debate forum and smirking, and, of course, making emotions. I hold back a lot on the boards, but doesn't everyone? ;)

Finding DMB

I found DMB through either regretless.com or possibly another member's web page. Either way, I waited a week or so and then I joined when the registration opened and have been posting since then.

Reason for being here

I joined DMB because it looked like such a cute message board, and very friendly and convinient. I had been on the GameFAQs boards (male-dominated) for so long I didn't even know about these little community-type themed graphic designer/nice people message boards.

Highlights

I think I passed the membership test with a 90 and I got in.
I became on star member.
I finally started making some friends on the board.

Friends

I have a few online and offline friends from DMB. kitsune aka Liesl joined the same time as me but she (obviously) isn't very active and we just keep in touch via tabulas now. willow also joined later, but for some reason dmb is malfunctioning for her now. For online, Yining/Ning and I have known each other for a little while now, so I'd consider her to be a good friend, and so is Ally/Chica (Jude Law...). Of course, Rellie/sunnyday and I disagree about Orlando Bloom and the such. Syd and I are master song searchers.. and I have nothing else to say. If I know you and didn't put you, it's because I'm in a mad rush to submit this. Yay! -_-''

Best memories

My best memory is just chatting away at the blogathon and forgetting about my troubles later into the night when I got into a huge argument with my parents. That cheered me up a lot, and made my old dial-up connection hogging the busy phone line and getting yelled worth all of it.

Feeding the need

I visit DMB every day that I am online Which is, suffice to say, almost every day of the summer. During the school year, I sometimes miss a week or so when I am busy.
