I am Katy - or King Katy if you wish. A sixteen year old geek and full-time college student from England, UK.
Yes, you may wonder why I am actually at college despite my age. The truth be told, it's a sixth form college. Otherwise known as a college you go to instead of school to take advanced level qualifications, not degrees - this is normal. I'm not as smart as you think. However - I am studying full time with the equivalent of five A-levels. I study a BTEC National Diploma for IT Practitioners (a three A-level equiv.), A-level Mathematics and A-level graphics design.
I work as an IT technician for a local computer firm, also. This is an exciting job but due to my education cannot work there as much as I'd like. I will probably be working evenings and every other Saturday as I need every other weekend free for Leslie to visit here, or for me to go up to London to visit him.
Okay, my relationship <3 - Leslie, Jisatsusha if you will. He is my boyfriend and has been for about a month and a half now. He is indeed a fellow member and moderator at DMB. The one true GEEK.
Things I enjoy include visiting Leslie in London (of course!) - and having him visit me, computers (hardware mainly), the internet, website design, mathematics, drawing, anime and manga. I also love my college, despite the fact we have no lunch break (which is bad for me - who has an entirely full timetable) - it is set in the heart of the New Forest. A VERY nice place to be.

I knew about it ages ago because people kept quoting from it *cough* Leslie *cough* and links were all over the net leading to it. I decided to not join for a long time, though. I feared I wouldn't fit in.
I got fed up people quoting from it and not knowing what was going on. I joined one day under the user 'Katy'. But soon became inactive. This is my second time joining and I can't believe I let myself get that way first time round. It's such a great board and I have lots of fun :D
Okay, I know what you're all thinking. JISATSUSHA. I didn't become friends with him at this MB, though. Contrary to popular belief. But yes indeed, he is my very best friend on this board - my very best friend in the world. He's my future husband <3 (no, we're not engaged - yet!)
Okay, so apart from him.... I've not really made any good friends. Those I actually have communicated with outside of the board environment are:

I'm not very sociable. Most of the people I've spoken to were spoken to on Leslie's AIM/MSN accounts when he's over my house. I get extremely paranoid and can rarely communicate with others - even online - unless I am IMmed first. So... if you want to, IM kachiixx on AIM or unidealistic on MSN. I won't bite. Really.
When I was nominated by Corey for SOTW 83, of course! Just over a week after I was actually accepted for star member. Wow. I felt real priveleged, so soon! Do you people really think I'm worthy of all that?!
I am usually online whenever I am not at college or work. Even when I'm at work I may sometimes be online. But not at college. My computer is on at home, but I will not be there. My college filters message board websites. It's a nightmare, I know. But whenever I am at home there's a 99.9% chance I have DMB open. Even if I don't reply, I am always watching over you :D
I love being part of the community, naturally :D it's such a friendly board, I really like it here. I'd choose DMB over any board any day. Hehehe. Good going, DMB. And thanks to Dodo for making it do such cool stuff!
