Welcome to my little section of the DMB 2004 Yearbook. This simple layout features Ding Ding, one of the cutest sets of characters ever! I made the header image all in Photoshop and then used Edit Pad to edit Yue's coding. (GRACIAS Yue and Rellie for helping me)
I don't remember how I found DMB, but I joined in 2002. I left early 2003 because of offline issues but I've rejoined this year (2004) and hope to stay for a very long time. I was re-promoted to a Star Member by ecila in July 2004. then promoted to a Moderator of personal and graphics & arts in August 2004. Then bunnywunny chose me as Star of the Week #3.
There are many people I respect or talk to occasionally through MSN, but there are only a few close friends that I will mention here. They are the ones I talk to daily on MSN...
Ningy - Crazy, psycho, crazy. xD She has two sides to her - a hyper side and a more thoughtful, sometimes depressed side. Although she worries me when she takes "breaks" from our MSN chats to cool off.. I know she is strong enough to overcome her depression and become her usual hyper lil self again. She sleeps a lot in class, and doesn't sleep at home. We need to buy some chains to hold her down to the bed so she can get some rest.
Rellie - Out of all my friends, she is the one that I think is most like me. We're both ratties (we have reached an agreement) and we're both pretty much hyper and happy the whole time. She's really helpful, especially with me and my messed up coding. Wahah she always calls me a dummy though. :( She gets angered by me a lot, but hey, most friends do.
Sydney - A little more serious than the rest of the group, I still love my Mexican food lover! Enchiladas, quesadillas... it brings me back to when we first chatted. She is a Rugrats obsessed, talented little pixeller! Her and her boyfriend amuse me - she forced him to give her a hickey! xD
Yue - Actually, I think I talk to Yue the most now. Listening to her guy problems, about her current obsession with a certain someone. *cough* She hates him yet she likes him. And I thought I had guy problems! At least the guys I have a crush on I can stand. xD And wait. I just found out her crush has three nipples. Ehhh.. Yue? Never heard of her.
Other friends - Lorie, Veronica, Alexa, Cine, Teya.. and many more. Sorry if I forgot to add you, I'm having mind blocks.
As a theme:
1. The first thing you do when you get online is visit DMB
2. All the posts in you your blog has at least a paragraph (if not the whole post) dedicated to DMB and its members.
5. Know the answers to all the crown drawings
12. You feel lost when your not on DMB.
14. You've quoted phrases you found on DMB in your offline life.
17. You have the sidebar open and comment on every new post as soon as it pops up.
18. You buy too many pixels, have a new avatar each week, and each time your mood changes, you go to Quick Edit to change it, no matter what you were doing.
19. When you try to get home early from school/work to check replies to a post you made earlier.
20. You have dreams about DMB and it's members.
21. You know almost everyone on the board on a first name basis...
22. You repeatedly visit DMB multiple times a day...even when you know there are no new posts. ex: leave computer because you are bored...come back two minutes later and come back to DMB.
24. You write/post more on DMB than on your own blog/journal. XD
27. you eat your dinner/lunch at the computer, just so you can be near DMB
28. you think to yourself "oh boy am i obsessed with dmb"
35. When you refuse to join another message board.
36. You visit DMB for 5 hours a day
38. You log on DMB at school/work/friend's house, just so you can check on the new posts, even though you are supposed to be working/researching etc.
39. You go crazy when DMB is down
40. You decided to kill yourself if you ever get banned from DMB
42. When you're meant to be getting ready to go out to a massive party and instead your on DMB checking for new posts.
43. When you come to a crisis and immediately ask DMB members for help.. EVERY TIME.
45. You bid in an auction and spend the rest of your sleeping hours worrying on whether your going to win it or not.
