i'm
a 15-year-old girl from the bay area of california, and i go by 'pyro',
'pyrokinetic', or (generally) any variant of the two. i've been webdesigning for roughly two and a half years now, and i joined dmb... some time before we switched from xmb to devbb. i don't update nearly as much as some others (and am not nearly as talented), but still love webdesigning to death, and would be entirely lost if everything blew up one day and we had no access to the internet. i'm just a big (closet) computer geek. =)

i really love dmb not only because of its activity but its
members - they're all so welcoming and friendly and willing to share ideas
=) dmb definitely helped me grow as a webdesigner just by introducing me
to all these other talented designers, and new methods, and just...
everything from mozilla (hehe) to php includes. while i can't be as active as i want (or should be), i still love coming here every few days to see any cool new features that dodo's added in or the latest hot plug in the plugs forum.
i found dmb through a link on someone's site; i don't even remember where or whose or in what context it was, but i was excited nonetheless. i mean, look: all these other people, like me, teenaged (for the most part - sorry emo/jake/etc ;)) girls who were webdesigning in their spare time. how much cooler can you get?
