I found DMB about 2 years ago from a button on some random website. I thought it was such a cute, helpful board and couldn't wait to join. I'd never joined a message board and almost didn't join DMB, but when I saw all the topics and cool things at DMB I had to join. I'm glad I did! The best thing about DMB is how friendly and mature it is. There aren't very many fights and people always welcome newbies. I usually visit about 3 times a day to post and check for new stuff. I love how innovative DMB is and how Dodo is always adding advanced hacks to it. DMB is totally unique and probably one of the most advanced boards on the web thanks to Dodo.
My favorite memory of DMB is when it moved to Ikonboard, I was kind of mad at first that my profile and stuff had been deleted, but the move ushered in a whole new era for DMB. DMB has changed my life in that it has made me more aware of how important participation is. DMB isn't a board where you just post, it's a whole community of activities. I used to just occasionally post here and I didn't really try to make friends or do any activitys, but recently I started participating more in DMB as a whole and it's been a lot of fun. I've made friends with some members and i've learned a lot from doing the many activities DMB offers. I bet i'll still be posting here 2 years from now, if Dodo deleted it i'd probably end up posting on some shallow vogue fashion board or something that didn't have such a variety of diverse and loyal members.
