Howdy everyone! My name is Stacey but most of you will know me as SkaterGirl. I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and was born on September 11, 1989 which means I'm thirteen year old virgo. I will be going into grade nine this year, so I'm pretty excited.

In my spare time I like to skate, play the piano, swim, talk, and web-design.
I'm all for being myself, and I tend to stand out in crowds. I'm five foot two, and I'm about 98 pounds. I have one older sister who is a year older. We are very close, and we get along great which many people think is weird.
I look nothing like anyone in my family since they all have straight hair, and glasses. Yup, I'm the family reject =P

How did you find DMB and why did you join?
I found DMB through a link on annia's blog. I decided to join because the discussions seemed very interesting, and I thought it would be nice to be part of a message board where I could talk to a bunch of people who share my interests.

How long have you been a member?
I have been a member of DMB since July 9, 2002.

What is your favourite DMB memory?
I would have to say the Secret Buddy events. I loved being able to make things for other people. It really make me feel happy to know someone enjoyed the things I made for them

How has DMB changed your life?
DMB has helped me make important decisions in my life. Whenever I'm feeling sad the people here are always willing to help me solve my problems, and make me feel better. Sometimes all I need to do is pay a visit to the discoveries section, or take some quizzes and I feel better. It has helped me to realize the value of opinions and views. Everyone see's things differently and the debate forum is a very good example of that. DMB has change my perspective of the world and everyday things.

If dodo was to shut down DMB what would you do?
I would try to keep in touch with some of the members and I would create my own board. It would never be as good as DMB, but it might help others like it helped me (see above question). I would create a MB so people could get things off their chest, and a place just to hang out and have fun. I hope this board doesn't close...but if it closed because of financial problems I would definitely try to donate something. DMB has helped me so much, and I'm sure I could give something back.

Will you still be posting here for another two years?
I'll be posting here until the end. I've grown up here, I love this place, and don't know what I'd do without it =D

How's DMB different from some other boards you joined?
DMB enforces rules more than any other board I know. I know I wouldn't post on a board with rude members that spam, and use others. This board is friendly and the people will go out of their way to help you.

Did you make any friends on DMB?
I would consider a few people on this board as friends. I mean...I'm a quiet person sometimes so I haven't really gone out of my way to talk to some people. I'm pretty sure people know who I am though since I'm on a lot and I'm a mod. So to whoever is reading this...U2U me! I want friends XD!

How often do you visit DMB?
Way too much! Next question...

Why are you making this page?
I really like this idea, and I think it will give other members a chance to know who I am and learn more about me as a person and not an alias. This is history in the making! Why not be a part of it!?
