◊INTRODUCTION                 ...brief intro about myself I go by the name "Kozzi" on the web. Those that know me well will know my real name. I'm just your typical Asian girl, living in Toronto, who enjoys web and graphic design. I am also addicted to journalling. I have a livejournal, which I update more often than my domain XD. Yesh, I ♥ LJ to bits ^o^!



◊DISCOVERY                 ...how i found DMB It was back in the fall of 2001. I was new to the internet scene and had just recently bought my domain - kozzi.net. I wanted to get involved in some internet communities, and I accidentally stumbled across a link to DMB through Phoebe's site (she was not my hostee back then). I checked it out, lurked around a bit, thought it was really friendly, and so, I finally decided to join. :)

Although I'm not a super veteran member who joined the board when it was still an ikonboard, but I did join relatively early ;) It's been almost 2 years since I've joined, and I'm glad that I'm still actively posting in it! ^^



◊MEMORIES                 ...best memory about DMB It's hard to say because there are so many XD I mean, just look at all the different activities we have here! From buddyland, to crown drawings, to auctions, to the implementing of DMB bucks. :P Really, I've had a lot of fun with DMB~ But if you really must make me pinpoint the most memorable thing of DMB, I would probably say the "spamming" of the tagboards when it was first added by Dodo. XD Hahah, there's still evidence of that in my tagboard :P LOL.... those were the good ol' days ;D



◊TRANSFORM                 ...DMB changed my life I wouldn't exaggerate that DMB completely changed my life, but I would say it did affect me a lot :) My passion for web and graphic design grew from interacting with so many talented designers on tbe board. I mean, my interest for programming developed even more after I met Dodo. Whenever she comes up with new hacks and scripts for the board, I would always say to myself "Wow, I wish I could do this~!". Right now, I'm going to take my third high school year in programming because of that! I'm working hard to earn good marks in school so that I can get into the Software Engineering program at my desired university. Dodo and DMB was undoubtedly a huge inspiration~ :D Thanks ^^



◊SOMEDAY                 ...what to do if DMB closes down LOL, I don't know what I would do actually! This is the first message board I've joined EVER, and I'm not lying about it =P It's got a lot of sentimental values to my online life heh. But if Dodo really chooses to close down the board, I'll be sad :( hehe if all else fails, I'll bribe Dodo to open it back up ;D



◊FUTURE                 ...still posting 2 years from now? I remember being asked this question before. :P I think it was one of the threads on DMB a long time ago. My answer would still be the same. Yes. I mean, I've come this far, and I've been posting at it so consistently. :P I don't imagine why I would stop 2 years from now. heh. ;)



◊UNIQUE                 ...how is DMB different First off, like I already said before, it was the first message board I've EVER joined :D :D So it's got a special place in me hehehe. *cheeses* Plus, I've joined other boards after DMB, but I've never seen one so active and fun. Dodo is a terrific and dedicated admin who alwasys tries to make the board as enjoyable for us members as possible. No other boards I've seen on the Internet has as many activities as this one. It's not just a board. It's so customized and ... unique! Dodo did a great job in establishing a wonderful and friendly online community. ^^



◊FRIENDS                 ...did I make any friends? XD Of course I did! heheheh. I can even say that almost all of the online friends I've made are from DMB! The wonderful admins and programming goddesses, Dodo and Daynah. The Torontonians Ecila and Wendi (Gardenia). ;) My host, Elizabeth (artofwords). My newest buddy, Mii-chan .... just to name a few ^^



◊LEARNINGS                 ...what I learned from DMB DMB taught me SOOOO much it's not even funny. LOL. Prior to joining, my HTML skills was basically limited all the stuff I learned from AsianAvenue (which isn't much XD). Most of my web design and HTML knowledge came from asking members on DMB. I was first introduced to wonderful b2 via DMB ;) I first learned how to properly validate websites on DMB. I first learned brushes from DMB. I was first exposed to php and mySQL through DMB. All the cool softwares and sites are found through DMB! LOL. I think my interest for photography also sparked from looking at members' photologs, which is why I'm a proud owner of the Canon Powershot S45 right now. XDD



◊VISITATION                 ...how often I visit DMB DAILY! lol. Unless I'm really busy or if I'm on vacation. =P Even if I don't post, I still visit daily. =P



◊WHY                 ...am I making this page I'm doing this because since DMB made such an impact to me, I feel that I should contribute to the yearbook to show my gratitude :) After all, Dodo dedicated so much time and effort to the board. This measly little page is nothing compared to all the hard work she put into the board to please us. ^^ Besides, I'm having a lot of fun doing this. Racking up all these memories of DMB is making me nostalgic :P
