About Myself

Hello there! My name is Wendi but on DMB, many know me as Gardenia. I am Chinese, 16 years old, and I reside in Toronto, Canada where I've met many incredible people Ecila and Kozzi. I tend to be blunt and overly sarcastic. I obsess over many things (especially guys) and I'm an overall nice and happy person. I love to read, sing along to songs, and chat online and I'm a candy and chocolate -a-holic. Some of the things I can't stand are annoying people, and people who don't give me enough privacy.

DMB in a Nutshell

Origin: Holy, I've been with this board for a very long time. I don't even remember exactly when I joined, or how I stumbled upon DMB. I think it was along the lines of me, surfing through Hello Kitty graphic sites, then followed it here to DMB. It was way back then when I knew nothing about websites, and I had this crappy page up on geocities or something. XD I believe it was an Ikonboard, the second generation. ;) Ecila and I both agree that it must be back in 2000'ish. DMB is a one of a kind message board because of its friendly atmosphere and the many activities Dodo come up with. It is my daily dose of entertainment. ;)

Experience & Friends: I have learned many many MANY things during my time at DMB. Dodo introduced me to the world of PHP and Jenn (_bw) introduced me to the world of CGing. I've gotten to know the funky Tay too. :D She's so fun to talk to. Whenever I stumble upon a question, I know that the members would be there to answer it for me. Aside from that, I've also gotten to meet some of these people offline. Kozzi, Ecila and I met up at Ecila's school's drama production for the first time. It was strange, yet a wonderful experience to actually meet people I've known online. After that, Ecila and I have gone to the movies, shopping for her banquet stuff, and summer school together. :) My favourite DMB experience was the first ever Secret Santa. It was fun and it got me into the whole Christmas spirit. I was Jessi's secret santa. :D

Future: I definitely see myself (if not posting) lurking around DMB in two years' time so if Dodo closes this board, I'd brawl my eyes out. Then, I'll start a petition. Haha. ;) j/k. I'd probably be even more bored, and won't go online as much but eventually, I'll get over it.

Miscellaneous

This is my current DMB avatar. It is typically squared with a black border. lol. I don't have copies of my old ones since I reformatted my computer. :P So ta-da. Yes, it's another semi-baby pic of me. :D

This is my sexy DMB buddyland icon. :) I really adore it even though it's dark and evil looking. lol. And totally opposite of me cause I'm a pretty optimistic kind of person. :) I only have two buddies in there, because I'm lazy and I don't take the time to get to know people, which is rather sad. :( Oh well. :D BE MY BUDDY!

Wow, I used to such an active member... what the hell happened? XP I'm gonna try to become a more active member from now on, starting with participating in this year's DMB yearbook! Whee! This quiz was fun to make. :) Not many people are me from what I remember, though. lol. Guess I'm just too unique. ;)

I think this is one of the proudest things I've done for DMB. I made an entire theme, complete with buttons and everything. And it was heck a lot of work. But the end result was definitely worth it, and to see people besides me actually using it, it's like "wow". But some of the credit has to go to the wonderful Dodo for making great use of the colours because I would have never thought to use peach and blue together. XD
