Who am I?
My name is Erica, pleased to meet you. I'm 12 years old and in the ninth grade. My hobbies include writing and web design, and I'm a self-proclaimed bookworm. I love music, especially Linkin Park and Our Lady Peace. My favourite author is Jeffrey Archer, and I write poetry. Oh yes, and I'm Canadian!!! Yay!
How did you find DMB?
I had been visiting Dodo at Regretless for a long time, and she talked about it quite a bit. Plus everywhere I went, people were saying "Today on DMB..." in their blogs. And I felt left out, so I joined. Hehe.
Why did you join?
As I said, I felt left out. Plus when I went to the board and surfed around, it seemed like a genuinely nice community of people. The fact that I had to pass an entry quiz was intimidating, but I figured it was also a good idea.
How long have you been a member?
To the best of my memory, I joined in November 2001. But I could be very wrong, I'm not sure. I was here for both the XMB and Dev BB versions of the board.
What's your best memory of DMB?
I know this might sound weird, but when all of the members info was lost in the switch to Dev BB. Everyone came and was so eager to get the board moving again. Plus my image got used for a theme XD A very bad image, hehe.
How has DMB changed your life?
DMB has given me a place to go online, to cure my boredom, to vent when I'm angry, and to seek advice when I'm having website problems. The people are helpful and polite and I love being here ^_^
If DMB were to close today, what would you do?
Oh, I'd be so upset! I'd probably get all moody for the rest of the day and snap at people. That's what I normally do when I'm sad, haha. Seriously though, I'd be really disappointed.
Will you still be posting here for another 2 years?
You bet! If it's here, I'm posting. I normally get tired of posting on boards, but DMB is a definite exception. So hopefully it will still be here in 2 years!!!
How is DMB different from other boards you've joined?
The whole atmosphere is just insanely different. It gives off the aura of just being a board where people look out for each other and are willing to listen to your problems, etc. Anyone who's a member knows what I mean.
Did you make any friends on DMB?
Yes!!! Some of my very nearest and dearest! My hostee Crystal (charm) and my best friend Julia were both met through DMB! Plus I U2U back and forth a bit with some other members.
Did you learn anything new from DMB?
You bet. I've learned tons of stuff about web design and graphic design. I've probably learned more here than from anywhere else actually, hehe.
How often do you visit DMB?
I try to visit every day, but if I don't do that at least twice a week. Unless I'm grounded of course, but that's a fairly obvious exception I think ;)
Why are you making this page?
Mainly to show how much I appreciate DMB and all the hard work admins and mods put into it. I've been meaning to make this for awhile so hopefully it still gets in.
Gifts I've made for other members of DMB
I don't have much of anything anymore, including all the wonderful things I've received, but here's a gift I made for my best friend Julia.

The first one I made myself, which is why it's here, although I don't really like it. The second is the theme I've been using for well over a year now and love to death.
